I have worked as a graphic designer and as a high school art teacher and enjoyed many aspects of both positions. However, having my own creative business that allows me to draw on all of my skills and interests, and to follow my artistic whims, is the ultimate dream! I love drawing, painting, collage and sewing (embellishment more than construction).

I'm currently focusing on a line of appliqued goods. I use my own, original designs, applying them to clothing, pillows, and table linens. I also do what I like to call "Salvage Art," collage & assemblage pieces that make use of all my fabric scraps and collected bits of beautiful papers and odds & ends such as old hardware.

hi, thank you so much! you are correct. blue painted bird is painted on an old landscape painting. i see it as tying in the past with the present. it also allows me to recycle! im glad you enjoy my work.
