Artist Biography: I had a long career in the legal field. I served as a Deputy Circuit Clerk, States Attorney Juvenile Division Director, and a Legislative Assistant to a Senator and Representative in the state of Wisconsin. Following my run in politics, I moved into the Real Estate arena in Central Illinois. After my 25 years of working as a "professional" I decided it was time to take on other challenges. I became a Master Gardner, a Certified Herbologist through the East West Herb Courses, and a Stained Glass Commissioner. Recently moving to a three acre farmette in the country gave me the peace and solitude I needed to really focus on my art form. After some years of family and friends requesting my stained glass work I expanded my studio and now do commission work for people across the country along with selling an inventory on Etsy. I have fallen madly in love, head over heels, with stained glass! I love the clients I work with, the people I meet and the work that I do. It has healed me, centered me, and I am one of those very lucky gals who can say that I will never "work a day again."

I had to take some time to unplug and re-flect, re-evaluate and re-lax. I've been re-connecting with the art of stained glass, the great outdoors, the dog days of summer and my family and friends. This photo has been in my camera for over… Continue
