Location:

About Me:
Momma. Artist. Writer. Piano. Poetry. Yoga. Bellydance. Walking. Dreamer. Intuitive.

I grew up with painting parents who loved listening to music and encouraged creativity. I feel lucky I can help my children's different artistic styles grow.

I took a lampworking class five years ago and fell in love with glass and torches. I already loved jewelry and wire, so the thought of combining the two won me over--

My 'real' work is with books, people and programs at the library--but I get to play there too. Really--guitar hero, ddr, jewelry making, henna...does it get much better??

Funk

Been in a jewelry making funk...so busy doing so much other stuff I haven't made time to get my glass out. Ho-hum. On top of that, I know I have some jewelry to fix that people have dropped off. Ho-hum again. Once I get it all out...I'm in love with jewelry again, but sometimes--like writing or drawing--I just get a little slow to process the creativity. Need some inspiration, I guess.

Demonstration

My youngest daughter got me a demo-gig...sorta cracks me up. She's in 2nd grade, so show-n-tell is still a weekly event. She's random in what she takes, but a few weeks ago she took in some beads I made. I guess they were a hit. The teacher was more than interested in having me do a demo for the class. She also wants me to make some extra beads so she can make bookmarks for her fellow teachers. My girlie is very excited for me to come next week. It isn't my first demo, but it is my first for a… Continue

My blog has lots of tips & hints for new Etsy members. I've been on Etsy for over two years now & want to give back to the community by helping younger shops. Give it a peek! It has a big plug board for you to load your link up free & two nice spots to run project wonderful ads. Plus, I like to do blog site, link exchanges. I usually get between 75 to 300 hits a day so it stays busy & is a nice place to promote from.
