- I have been living in Fairbanks, Alaska for almost 3 years with my wonderful boyfriend. I wish I could be making artistic things full time, but for now I am pursuing a Master's degree in Anthropology. I have always had an appreciation for independent artists, designers, jewelry makers, etc... one of my great pleasures in life is to visit fairs, markets and boutiques where I can see wonderful handmade creations.

- Jewelry, mostly earrings. I also enjoy making bracelets and necklaces, but earrings are my first love. I like to work with beads and silver. Most of my pieces now are done with beads, soon I hope to get into metalsmithing and lampwork. I am still a bit of a beginner, but there is always room to improve and experiment with new things!

- Favorite Music/Musicians:
- Lately, I have been listening to: Neko Case and the New Pornographers. I like a lot of different bands its hard to choose. I also love my boyfriend's electronic collection.
- Favorite TV Show & Movies:
- Project Runway is a major favorite, if there was a channel dedicated to previous seasons, it'd be on all the time! Also love The Office and The Simpsons :-) Anything with humor or creativity involved.

Happy 2008!
Happy New Year everyone! Just a quick one - I haven't updated anything here in quite some time, (a resolution: keep in touch better!) but wanted to say hi to all the new friends I've made here, thank you for adding me :-) Also I have been having fun playing with Precious Metal Clay and my new kiln! Newbie on Indiepublic
Hello indiepublic community! This is my first time working on indiepublic and first time blogging, really... not much of a blogger but I guess that will change.
