Location:

About Me:
I was born and raised in Sweden, studied in Switzerland and England, worked in Holland, Spain and Belgium, and lived 12 years in Japan, before moving to the US. While in Tokyo, I fell in love with vintage kimono and obi fabrics and started collecting. I have used some fabrics in quilts, but when returning to the US last year, I started to design and sell greeting cards using these beautiful fabrics. Each design is hand cut which is quite time consuming, but it also makes them unique, since not two cards look the same, due to the changing patterns of the kimono. Check out my websites: www.kimonocards.com and kimonocards.etsy.com

hi Yoshiko - konnichiwa!! Genki desu-ka? Yes, we travelled around Japan a lot, and also visited Osaka. I love everything Japanese, the people especially, the culture, the food..... If our two daughters here in the US hadn't begged us to return, we might have stayed longer... Good luck with your shop too!
