I've finally decided to delve into the world of Twitter. I'm not fully immersed yet and by no means an expert, but since my husband was out of town (and I was alone on a Saturday night) Twitter and I have already become fast friends.
For those of you who aren't Twitterers (or Twits?), it's a form of micro-blogging. The best way I can think of to describe it is as texting your friends to tell them what you're doing/thinking of/learning about throughout the day. Sort of akin to status updates on Facebook.
While this might seem mundane, I get such a kick out of the chance to go "behind the scenes" in someone's life. I love knowing what keeps a person busy throughout the day and learning from someone I might not know otherwise. It's almost as good as getting to see what the inside of their home looks like (and
you know I love that too).
I'm following some pretty interesting people and it seems like a great networking tool. Besides my friends and paper/design peeps, I'm following some media folks, CEOs, politicians and tech gurus. If you're already on Twitter or just want to check it out, you can go to:

We all need another thing to keep track of, right?
The reason why I haven't written a business plan yet (I know, I know) is because it seems like an incredibly daunting task. Financial projections, data-gathering, sales forecasting...head spinning...head spinning...more head spinning.
It's an informal and completely visual way of getting all these ideas out of my head. Now all I need are some fabulous sticky notes like
these from
Good on Paper.
