I have a press that I used for dye cutting and embossing in my paper business. It has been in storage for a while because I have dreamed of starting it up again sometime. I just loved operating it. I loved the sound and the process but have to be realistic and accept the fact that it is not going to happen again for me. I have been wondering if there is anyone who actually uses them for art purposes and then I found this group.

I also have 2 offset and a flexographic press to sell. It is hard to give them up but my health isn't good enough to keep up with the business. I had lines of notes, tags, novelty, and gift wrap paper that we sold at all the major wholesale markets. It's a field that I absolutely love and even have dreams of designs to produce. All of the equipment is good, some may need a little rehab. It has been stored in a dry area. It is located near Indianapolis, IN if you are interested. email: b.brookiewhite@mac.com

Rachel,

The letterpress is available, however, I have to decide if I want to part with it for sure. We may be moving to a location where I will have room to use it again. I'll know more in a couple of months. The price will be very little though, maybe $200. You will have to arrange for for shipping.

I love the process, the rhythm, the sound, and of course the results.

Check back with me. Barbara

I would be interested in your letterpress equipment once and if you decide you want to sell it.

Hi,

I'll keep you all informed. If we don't get the new property that we want, the press will definitely have to find a new home. I didn't make it clear that is is electric and suction fed but has the roller and platen bed that gets the ink. It does a good job of die cutting and I think would emboss well too. I'll post pictures soon. It's still hands on kind of thing but would make production a lot faster.

Barbara,

If you decide to sell your letterpess would you allow pick up? I live in Illinois, we wouldn't mind the drive. What kind of letterpress is it? How big is it?
