I'm new to this forum, but have already been inspired to plunge ahead with my ideas! I love that there are so many creative individuals here, willing to share and build a community of Artists who seem to have the common idea of Creating in an Earth Conscious and Friendly environment.
My interests are in making natural soaps/bath products.....eventually moving to skin care products. I also knit and sew and will be coming out with a line of Wedding gowns, made to be worn barefoot w/floral head garlands....using natural fabrics and colors. I hope to add Organic Cotton knit items as well.
Thanks for being the Welcome Wagon!
I'll leave you with a favorite quote:
It is not only for what we do that we are held responsible, but also for what we do not do.

Hi. My name is Chantal. I live in Shelbyville, TN - I just moved to TN about a year ago from northern Maine. I work part-time at a university here and the rest of time time I just work in my studio on various crafty projects - I also spend a fair amount of time trying to figure out how to decorate our new house (we just moved in a few months back) and studying for the GRE.
I'm married and we have 3 cats, a very cute dog and we inherited the koi that were at our house before we moved in.
Hello, My name is Shannon. By Daytime I am a Software Analyst for a worldwide software company. This pays the bills and raises the kids.
My true passion would be crochet. I have made 100's of blankets and ponchos over the years and unfortuatley do not have pics of many of them. I have started to upload some stuff from recent years. I truly do this only for the joy of it and once in a great while I will take on a commissioned piece ( the price being a contribution to the charity of my choice ). All of my blankets are unique.... varriations in one way or another. I don't work from patterns (cannot read them anyway) and only work from sight (or sometimes from within my head). I change the picture to be what feels right to me even though some of the originaly vision might be intact. Adding , changing or taking stitiches away.
One note about me.... I personally posess only one blanket. It was a gift from Heartmade Blessings made by my fellow crochet maniacs. I have many times started making a blanket for me to keep and before it is done the true owner appears and off the gift goes to it's destined home.
I'm Lisa and I have the best job in the world, I get to play with fabrics all day! I design and make handbags, and other fun accessories in my home attic studio in Port Angeles, Washington.
