Scented fabric/yarn?

I know it's possible to make sweet scented charms like the ones at www.pancakemeow.com but I was wondering if there is a way to add scent to yarn and fabric? Any help on this subject would be much appreciated! I am crafting little confections and thought adding a yummy scent would just make them that much more lovable!

ah, no answers, I was wanting to know this too. That would be awesome to cuddle up in a scarve the smell of cinnamon rolls. Yumm.

The only thing I can think of is storing them with potpourri. I just don't know, but It would be interesting to find out.
