Hi there,

Where would you suggest I order business cards and/or other personalized promotional products, such as magnets or postcards and such? I might be able to make some at home using my computer and printer, but are there any free computer programs or templates that might be available online?

This is my first post, and I'm new to Indipublic, so I apologize if there is coverage of this topic already but I have yet to find proper information. Thanks so much for any help anyone can offer.

Best,

Marissa

I know a lot of people - especially esty-ers - use MOO. Their cards are really cute, and you can put a bunch of photos on them, but IMO they're pricey.

I use VistaPrint - they always run "free" offers where the printing is free, you just pay the shipping.

I ordered my business cards from both VistaPrint and OvernightPrints. The quality of the cards from Overnightprints are definitely better.

If you have a copy, Microsoft Publisher has templates that are fairly easy to use - that's where I made mine. There might be some free templates floating around the internet too. I print mine off on recycled/scrap cardstock etc. - it's good for the environment :) I'll second the MOO is pricy comment, at least it is to me....if you have a decent printer you could print cards with your work on one side then print your info on the other side.

Welcome to Indie! Hope this helps at all :)

I use Vistaprint, but there are a lot of sellers on Etsy who sell promotional items at a reasonable price!

I use VistaPrint and I really like them. You can get postcards, business cards, pens, envelopes, paper, stmaps, and other fun things that will help promote your shop.

I know some people use Moo but I've heard its expensive. Still might be interesting though!
Hope this helps!

Hi there...like some of the other commenters I use Moo.com and also vistaprint. I have had the best response to the moo cards. People love them and hang onto them because they are like a mini piece of art. And if you make art then you can give people an actual sample of your work which is always fun! I don't find it too expensive for what you get...its $20 for 100 cards and they are really good quality. Vistaprint you can get 250 for $10 though so it depends on what you want.

MonsterPromos on etsy has some really cool promo items....

As for postcards, etc., I was planning on giving GotPrint.com a whirl, I've heard mixed reviews of Vistaprint.....

I use Vistaprint - they always have specials and stuff is free except for shipping. Once you sign up, you'll be receiving emails almost daily, so be warned.

I have also used Overnightprints - the quality is good there too.
