Indiepublic

If you're new to Indiepublic, please introduce yourself here! We're a friendly and supportive community so don't be shy.

I'll start: My name is Sion Lee and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I'm a full-time blogger and artist; you may know me from my blog, Cuteable, or from my art, Ubiki. I have an engineering background which allows me to do all sorts of fun stuff with websites, but at heart I'm a creative soul who enjoys art and design.

In my spare time I like doodling, feeding the koi in my backyard pond, and playing with my crazy monster beagle, Sogo!

It is cheap - but I think slow and not very user friendly or scaleable - I just dread having to do anything with it :0)

Hi - My name is Joanne, and I am also new to almost all of these forums. I thought I posted on here before, but it must have been another forum - silly me.

Anyway - I have been making jewelry for a while, but I just started selling it on etsy jjmckillip.etsy.com.

Let me know what you think!

Welcome! This is a great resource site...I haven't been as active lately - I went a few months where I spent too much time on the internet and not enough time crafting - but Indie is fabulous for resources, suggestions, and encouragement.
Your jewelry is lovely.

Hi, Everyone--I'm Jules and I'm the creator of some truly awesome bath and body stuff. Right now I work full time and do the B&B on the side, but when I retire in three short years I want the B&B to be my full time job. YIPPEE.

Hi Jules, WELCOME!!!!!!!

Hope you have fun here. Guess what?? You have a full time job now. Do you like it? When you retire you don't want another full time job. You want to have fun, don't think of your B&B as a job. Smile, enjoy, and stop working, have fun with what you do. You run it, not the other way around.

Hi, my name's Holly and I live in the Pacific NW. I've been a member of Etsy since the end of November 2007 and I LOVE it! I've met a lot of really great people on there.
I enjoy designing and creating hand painted children's clothing and I've recently dabbled in hair accessories as well. Lots of fun! :o)
Anyway, I'm looking forward to expanding my circle of artistic friends. :o) This looks like a really great place.

When I take the time
to look and to really see
and to apply my "foolish" imagination,
there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

Born in America in my mother's homeland
and raised in Venezuela, the country of my father,
I am the product of cross-cultural
influences, experiences and dualities
which find expression in my work.

I am a self employed artist.

Studies:
Graphic Design - Hans Neuman School of Design in Caracas, Venezuela.
Fiber Arts - Memphis College of Art, USA.

Art, painting, design, patterns, nature, botanical, children, books, collage, batik, sewing, gardening, cooking...

Hi, I'm Karen. I love to make jewelry and do all kinds of crafts with my two boys. I'm currently a stay at home mom, but I will be going back to work this fall because my youngest child will be starting school (YEAHHHHH!!).

Hi everyone, I'm Tina. I live in New Brunswick, Canada, and I am a fiber artist and paper crafter. I dabble in other crafts as well, but for personal enjoyment. I am attempting to be a WAHM - I am an Avon Rep and am a consultant for an adult home party company, on top of crafting. I have 2 girls and am expecting #3 in the late fall, and I am mom to a furry brood: 2 gerbils, 2 cats, and a dog (soon to be two!)

I run a blog, as well as sell on Etsy. I am also considering a personal website/webstore.

Hi, I'm Patti. My husband, Leo, and I live in the foothills of the South Mountains - a section of the Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. We have a cat, SnowChief, a dog, Pickles, and a 21-year old son, Nick, who lives in Maryland. I prefer mixed media work, but am currently working on photographs of sunsets. We make our living selling antique and vintage items in a brick-and-mortar, plus eBay, Etsy and BluJay. Stumbled onto postcards a few years back and make good money selling them. I want to get back to my acrylics work. I love murals but they're kinda hard to sell online! Also, steampunk has gotten my attention lately - I'm working on a copper/brass covered old typewriter. I love gardening, too. We're both poets and writers, as well. Glad to meet you all!
