I know many of us here on Indie Public sell on Etsy but do you also sell on DaWanda? DaWanda is another e-venue for selling all things handmade with love!
I am putting together a 5 part blog post over this weekend to talk about how to use DaWanda to expand your business, why it can benefit you, who is buying on DaWanda & what you need to know to be successful there!
If you want, check it out on my blog! www.always-amy.blogspot.com I hope it helps you make your decision about DaWanda!
I just set up shop on Dawanda in the last week. No sales yet, but it's early days. For me Dawanda is a better option for the moment as I don't have to pay to list, and I need to make some money before listing any more on etsy.
I live in Germany so it it easier for me to sell there than on etsy. Europeans often can't compete with americans on etsy because of high shipping costs...
And I speak german better than english of course:)
But there are lot's of sellers from everywhere (America, Australia,...) who sell quite successful there as far as I know.
@AlwaysAmy: I read your article about da Wanda on you Blog, it is good! You're right, a shop on da Wanda is much easier to handle and much cheaper!
P.S. There is another site to sell handcrafted goods in germany called "Kunst von uns", they also offer an english section. But it is very very very new, only 600 members or something. You may check in to see wether it is worth selling there or not, at least it is always good to sign up and list one or two things just for marketing and to block your shop name...just in case in becomes successful (that's what I do...)
YES! Just set mine up this morning! Loving it! It's like Etsy, but FREE! I TOTALLY recommend it 100%!
