I would like to feature you on TryHandmade.com
Every day I'm surprised to find people who are uncomfortable buying products from an individual. They would rather buy from a big box store like Target, Wal-mart or Pottery Barn.
To try to combat this attitude, I have a site called Try Handmade where I feature products which by the sheer fact of their wonderfulness and beauty will convince people to make their first purchase from a independent seller.

Hi Erika, I'm not sure my shop has enough items listed in it to be worthwhile, but I thought it worth a try. Nothing else has been working as far as drumming up sales.

What a wonderful idea! I know exactly what you mean, I think it's more understandable online but I've notice the same hesitancy even at art festivals. Sometimes people need a little prodding to come out of their comfort zone.
