Are you a jeans and tshirts kinda person? sweats? skirt and blouse? jacket and tie?
I was just thinking the other day how I would like to just wear jeans and tshirts all the time and was wondering what other people are most comfortable in. Do artists/ creative types tend to be inclined to similar styles of dress?
So, me: jeans, tshirt, hoodie and a pair of high top converse sneakers.
jeans and hoodies are perfect especially since they now make such cute hoodies that are slim fitting and even cropped. For the spring all I wear is either t-shirt,tank, cropped pants, and flip flops. I love cropped pants and so glad they keep coming back every day! You can be comfy and cute!
I go through trends.I kinda prefer it when I'm in a skirt mood as I can make them myself so have a ton. Jeans I am super (as in SUPER) fussy about so I only ever have about 2 in the wardrobe (normally i only like one).
So a funky patterned skirt if it's one I made (I find buying plain fabric painful) and a black top of some kind or a dark plain (bought) skirt and a brighter (or black, i buy a lot of black) top. Funky shoes are a must - my favourite at the moment are cat pirate skully boots.
If I'm doing jeans then I'm probably slobbing - black jeans and a long t-shirt under a black jumper are my favourite comfort clothes. Looks smart whilst being infinitely comfortable.
High-heeled sneakers!
I love bright flowery cotton sundresses in the summer.
I also love to use fabric markers on "blank canvases" such as totes, old jeans and Keds or Chuck Taylors.
I like flowy, cotton sundresses! It's really hot in Tucson so I need to stay cool and comfortable without looking sloppy! If it has a nice, modern print I like it even better!
I love cotton clothes, I don't wear my jeans that often - I'm generally in some form of cargo/capri pants with a cottony somewhat 'India themed' blouse/shirt/top. I love babydoll styled tops too with smocking at the top - I wear those a lot. I'm really trying to go with the whole casual sundress theme this summer too. I do a lot of outdoor craft markets and those are easy and comfortable.
