Please Introduce Yourself!

If you're new to Indiepublic, please introduce yourself here! We're a friendly and supportive community so don't be shy.

I'll start: My name is Sion Lee and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I'm a full-time blogger and artist; you may know me from my blog, Cuteable, or from my art, Ubiki. I have an engineering background which allows me to do all sorts of fun stuff with websites, but at heart I'm a creative soul who enjoys art and design.

In my spare time I like doodling, feeding the koi in my backyard pond, and playing with my crazy monster beagle, Sogo!

I love creating funky pieces of jewelry inspirec by my love of travel and discovering new places. I am also into paper and felt - and am currently playing with some ideas for key rings and mixed media collages. I love Etsy, the community is a fun one to belong to and it inspires me every day by seeing the array of talent it supports. So drop by the shop, have a look and if you have any queries send me an email! Wishing you all a crafty and prosperous 2008!

Hi there :) My name is ErinLee and I currently reside in NY. I am a DIY mamma, runner, healthy enthusiast and artist. Not only do I hope to delight some lucky person with a soft seahorse, but hopefully the seahorses can help me stay at home with my little girl, who is 17 months old and still very much needs me.

Your seahorses are beautiful. What a talent. I think, you can stay home with the gorgeous child as long as you want. Welcome to indie and enjoy your stay here. You will find that everyone here is friendly and very helpful. Happy New Year!!!!!!

Many thanks Sherryl.. I have to budget my time spent here, this place is full of amazing people and I could spend a whole day on it. I doubt my little girl would like that too much.. ;D You are right about the friendliness here- I just joined and already I've received plenty of warm welcomes. Happy New Year to you too!

I'm really impressed with the craft and dedication you all are showing on this site. I'm absolutely not used to it. Mostly I have to convince other people to be interested in it, or to just show some proper respect (well in art at least, I guess everybody would be stunned by some of the fine handwork you have presented here :))...
Another thing I noticed, here seem to be more gals then guys? How odd. Or are guys just too incivilized to be handworkers and merchants at the same time? (Exceptions excluded of course.)

I think an introduction is not much needed, if you want to know more, just click on to my NING-page. Btw. great platform for groups indeed.

Luck
