What kind of pets do you have? What are their names? Any pet that you would love to have some day?

We have three cats: Willow, Escher and Beaker.

I have always wanted a Pot Bellied Pig. Haven't quite convinced the hubbie yet, though. :)

I have 3 pets. Two cats: Lily and LeeLu. LeeLu has morphed into an old woman (she's 5) since Lily the kitten came into our lives. Of course Lily thinks everything in the world was made to be a toy for her, including LeeLu but LeeLu has other ideas.

I also have an elderly bunny (Neatherland Dwarf) Sweet Pea. He's 11 yrs old and the vet says they generally live 5 - 7 yrs.......he's working on being in the Ripley's book! :)

My beloved hedgehog, Bob, died this past summer. :-(

Bob was a rescue hedgie (I always say I'm not sure if I rescued him or he rescued me :-)). I'm still invoved with hedgehog rescue efforts. Many people buy or adopt them on impulse because hedgies are such cute creatures. They *are* cute--they're also living things that require constant care. Hooray for those who adopt pets! :-)

I'm very sorry about Bob. That is so difficult to lose a pet.

I've never heard of hedgehogs as pets before... just backyard/garden critters. I bet they are adorable. Do they live inside or in a cage outside? Are they hard to care for? I'm so curious about them. :)

Three little house rabbits here... Maybelline, Faith and Mickey. Mickey and his famous "white paw" adorn my craft logo.

I ike how you used Mickey as your logo. He's a cute logo (she? Mickey can go either way). My business is named after Diamond Sunshine and AsaMina Sura; Diamondmeenuh Creations (Meenuh is the phonetic spelling of Mina). The pair appear in my Etsy avatar, too.

Yep, Mickey is a boy. I found him on Petfinder.org and adopted him in 2004. Someone gave him up because he had too many health issues, mainly problematic teeth. Before he came to me, his front teeth had to be pulled because they were so misaligned, they were preventing him from eating even when they were clipped. Little did I know that my vet bills would be in the thousands when I adopted him ;) But I love him SO much I can't even stand it sometimes! He has the funniest ways about him and he's so smart. He comes tearing through the house when called, he has to be involved in everything I do, and dare I forget to feed him his supper at exactly the same time every night, he'll find me whereever I am and dig on my leg... He's more of a roommate than a pet :D

Your cockatiels are adorable! I always loved them, I think its the rosy cheeks that get me :) I never had a bird. I'd like to someday when I can devote the time they need.

It's always the ones that aren't 'perfect' that have the most endearing qualities. They also know that when they find the right human they can be themselves and be loved for who they are. My Edgar Allan is like that. I'm his third family (and his last). Why anyone would give him up or not love him simply because he doesn't like sitting on fingers and snuggling is beyond me. He is hysterical and has the sweetest personality you can imagine. He gets from one side of his cage to the other via 'anti gravity boots'. He walks upside down on the inside roof of his cage. He turns summersaults when he gets impatient with my evil hands being in his cage. He lets me toss a towel over him to trasport him and clip wings. He doens't have a mean feather on him! He just doesn't like to sit on your finger. It's like Mickey, just a very sweet loveable personality and one that you're glad no one else had the time or patience to see was there because he's now yours...well, "you're his" is more accurate, I'm sure. And thank you for the compliment on my tiels! They are my babies. Can't have human kids, so I adopted and just didn't specify the species ;-)

I have one indoor cat - her name is Isis and my avatar is a pastel I did of her. She is very strange, her favorite thing is to open my sock drawer and empty my socks on the floor, so industrious doing it, seems like it is her job!! Also any clothing on the bathroom floor goes into her litter box. Once I dropped my PJ's onto the bath mat and hopped in the shower, when I came out Isis was very very busy putting my PJ's in her litter box - LOL. Thank goodness she is a neat freak, tells me when she uses litter box so I can go and clean it out. She also likes to help me paint, many times my brush has skidded because she is tapping on the back of the canvas... I have to share this photo of her with you.... just click on the link as I don't know how to get the photo to show

I LOVE your story about Isis and I LOVE your avatar! It's so nice to see another artistic critter! One day she'll be making and selling million dollar paintings, you'll see :-)

Oooh - wouldn't that be lovely if she did get that famous - we can only hope.... thank you and nice to meet you also.

Well, they've got that elephant is some zoo who paints and has it's work in a museum and the paintings go for thousands. Then there is that Jack Russle Terrier who also paints and her owner gets thousands for her work, too. Isis is MUCH cuter than both the elephant and Jack Russle, never mind that star quality face, I wonder what would happen if you let her loose with a canvas and tried to sell her creation......
