Are you a jeans and tshirts kinda person? sweats? skirt and blouse? jacket and tie?
I was just thinking the other day how I would like to just wear jeans and tshirts all the time and was wondering what other people are most comfortable in. Do artists/ creative types tend to be inclined to similar styles of dress?
So, me: jeans, tshirt, hoodie and a pair of high top converse sneakers.
Though I should say I'm probably a little too old to do converse or hoodies. And no graphic or boy type tees. Though I wish I could sometimes!! I just don't want to be one of those looks young from a distance but scary up close people lol. Shoes I do more boots or mules/clogs. A little dressier than sneakers but still casual enough for me to be comfortable. Growing up is tough stuff!! You have to be all appropriate and such. :P
I am really old but I still spend most days in shorts and a t-shirt with earth shoes sandals. When I dress up it is jeans, chambray shirts and sneakers.
For me, it's usually wide-leg jeans (or cotton twill trousers), a long-sleeve thermal top (usually over a band t-shirt. Laaaame), and some kind of slip-on shoe. I usually wear two pairs of (mismatchedbecauseIcannotbebotheredsortingthemokay) socks and leg warmers. A hoodie and/or a coat if I go outside, depending on how cold it is, and I've been known to throw a long wrap skirt over me trousers as well. And I never go anywhere without a hat. EVER.
All in all, I choose comfort (and warm) over fashion - even if I do look like a bag lady most of the time ^_^
Back in '04 bought a cowboy hat, the crochet look kind... I love it and wear it when I mow the lawn. I look silly as all get out but I don't care. I am mowing the yard so it is no fashion show! I also wear whatever I want to depending on the heat and if I am wanting a tan. I have a rather large back yard so I can do what I want.
I wore a baseball cap to work for a promo and went about crazy. Won't do that again. It bothered me so bad and made my head itch.
i like to dress simply but with a little flava. i'm very casual and laid back and the way i dress usually reflects that. i love simple skirts. prefer flat shoes. oh, and 'wild' hair. :-)
Oh, aye! My hair is not a part of me, but rather a very temperamental creature which lives on my head and has a mind of its own. It seems to get rather upset when I try and disturb it, so I just let it do as it pleases. Hence the hats.
