Indiepublic

If you're new to Indiepublic, please introduce yourself here! We're a friendly and supportive community so don't be shy.

I'll start: My name is Sion Lee and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I'm a full-time blogger and artist; you may know me from my blog, Cuteable, or from my art, Ubiki. I have an engineering background which allows me to do all sorts of fun stuff with websites, but at heart I'm a creative soul who enjoys art and design.

In my spare time I like doodling, feeding the koi in my backyard pond, and playing with my crazy monster beagle, Sogo!

Welcom Janette. This is a great and fun place to be. Why not do both. If you spend to much time trying to make a decision, you won't get anything done. Take it from an expert. I wasted 2 yrs. on trying to make a decision, figure things out. One day I just did it. And here I am:

Now the biggest decisions I have now are questions.

Hi Sherryl and thank you! I think that you´re right about that one! I will do both.. I was thinking about study silversmithing...

Hugs.

Hi everyone! My name is Christine of White Paw Craftworks and I live in NY, just a short distance from the Etsy Labs which I've yet to visit (shame on me!). I have a background in psychology and I'm currently finishing my graduate degree in Childhood Special Education. I love exploring different avenues of creativity...currently I'm honing my crochet pattern writing skills so I can share my stuffed cuties with the world. I also LOVE photography and I'm working on having some of my old slides scanned for digital archiving (any suggestions?) I have 3 house rabbits that run the show here, gotta love the bunnies!
Everyone here on Indiepublic has been so welcoming, and supportive...so glad I'm here to be a part of this great community!

Welcome WPC. This is a great place to be. There is always something going on. Good luck on honing your crochet writing skills. I've tried it from time to time. I think a voice activated or just plain tape recorder would work just fine and write it later. I usually use a note book and litlle marks (tic marks) looks more like binary code. But it works for me. Got a tape recorder, just don't know where I hid it amongst the yarn supply.

I can't remember if I've ever posted in this thread before. My name is Holly Piper-Smith and I live in Milford, Delaware, USA. I'm a photographer, but my day job is in real estate appraisal. I have two side companies, pollyhyper.etsy.com which focuses on image transfer and polymer clay jewelry and accessories, and secondimpressionphoto.com which is my photo restoration/retouching company.

I am married with no kids, unless you count the 2 dogs and 2 cats which we spoil like children, and we live in a 100-year old house that always needs something fixed. If I had free time, I'd spend it crocheting or reading, or just wandering around taking photos!

Hey everyone. My name is Karla and I am from Philadelphia, PA. My shop's name is ZAPOLdesigns, which basically my name [maiden name that is] spelled backwards! I specialize in both beaded and hemp jewelry and have begun making recycled paper products.

You can check out my shop at zapoldesigns.etsy.com. I also have a myspace at myspace.com/zapoldesigns, which has links for all of my blogs at the bottom of the page.
