Indiepublic

If you're new to Indiepublic, please introduce yourself here! We're a friendly and supportive community so don't be shy.

I'll start: My name is Sion Lee and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I'm a full-time blogger and artist; you may know me from my blog, Cuteable, or from my art, Ubiki. I have an engineering background which allows me to do all sorts of fun stuff with websites, but at heart I'm a creative soul who enjoys art and design.

In my spare time I like doodling, feeding the koi in my backyard pond, and playing with my crazy monster beagle, Sogo!

Thanks for the warm welcome! My name is Maureen, and along with my mom (Nanny) and a network of independent knitters in New England, we produce classic knit wear for babies that we sell from our online shop NannyGram. My mom taught me to knit when I was a child, but it wasn't until I was thirty-something that I returned to the knitting needles. And, now, I can't put them down :-) I live in north central Massachusetts in a drafty, but charming, antique cape. which is also NannyGram headquarters. When I'm not knitting for NannyGram, I knit socks as gifts for my dearest friends. I'm looking forward to being a member of this community!

Hello and welcome from another yarn lover . I started crocheting in high school and like you I took a long break and now I can't stop either. Can't wait to finish one project so I can start another, the one dancing in my head right now. One at a time I tell myself.
You'll be happy here, I am, this is a very friendly community. WELCOME!!

Welcome Maureen. I would love to know how to knit. My mum tried to teach me as a kid but i just couldn't get it. I think I may have messily knitted a couple of scarves. You are very talented, indeed.

Hello! My name is Shelley Jones. I live in Pullman, WA. I have boy/girl twins that are almost two which takes up much of my time. My other time is devoted to Nahia Creations (my company) and our project for the year... constructing our own house. I love bath and body stuff which is why I started Nahia Creations and love creating new products. I consider my self pretty crafty, but lack time to do much that I want to do! I just started a blog and am having lots of fun with it. I have a background in Accounting (including a Masters degree in taxation) and spent the time prior to my kiddos being born in corporate accounting, which is quite useful in running your own business. Okay, enough about me. Wow.. can't believe I wrote that much!! Thank you for being such a warm and welcoming community!

Saw your blog and left a comment but I'm having trouble with my google account. For some reason I can't remember who I am or my password. Change it last night and still it's not working so I'm the strange person that said go Etsy. It's fun and there are a lot of interesting and helpful people there as well as here. Everyone is so friendly.

Good Luck and continue to have fun and enjoy what you're doing. That's the key.

Hi, I'm Kat Lambrix - I live in Kearny, NJ and work in NYC. At home, I've got my lovely husband, my sweet yellow lab, and two parakeets. I started making jewelry with my mother-in-law through a series of classes three years ago.

I found Indiepublic through Etsy and wanted to join up here to do a little networking and check out what other designers were doing.

I sell on Etsy and at various designer and craft markets throughout NYC and NJ. Can't wait to meet other Indiepublic-ers!

I'm Steve, and my wife Marlee and I own and operate Shoparooni, a small boutique in Cleveland that sells shoes, tees, handbags, accessories, and all kinds of random stuff that strikes our fancy! We've got a physical storefront as well as a recently-launched online store.

Aside from Shoparooni, Marlee owns a graphic design firm called Marlee Design, and I'm a professional yo-yo performer with my company, Steve Brown Is My Hero.

We've got three kids, three dogs, and no time for sleep! But honestly, we can't imagine doing it any other way. :)

Hi Steve and Marlee, welcome to Indiepublic! I LOVE your shop. If I wasn't in Melbourne Australia I would come and visit. Looks really funky.
