I am going to crochet some granny squares out of #10 cotton to be soaked in windex then air dryed. It has to be cotton thread or yarn. Once dryed in windex they make perfect eyeglass cleaner cloths. Don't wet just use. To give as gifts, I have the colored bridal bags to put them in & pretty colored tags to put names on!
What are you planing to make this year to give as gifts?
I am doing my usual. Making jewelry for all the gals on my list. They are also getting crocheted sache bags for their dresser drawers. The boys, well, none of them are much in the jewelry department, so I'm not sure about them. Great idea. Never though about being eyeglass cleaner cloths.
What a cool idea! I have never heard of that windex treatment trick. Great stocking stuffers.
For me, I'm creating lots of earrings, since all of my girlfriends want them. For the fellas, kids, and those who hate earrings ;), my original artwork is always a nice, unique choice.
Right now I'm working on some gocco prints, which are great, affordable options to gift original artwork. A nice alternative to the inkjet "giclee" prints, as they really show the hand of the artist. I handpainted the background of each print on vintage Fabriano cold-pressed watercolor paper. It's amazingly tactile!
I am making Christmas scented Goat's Milk & Honey Body Creams, Christmas scents in Soaps, Gift Sets for women, Gift Sets for men, Duck Soap Cakes for the kiddos. :)
Your eyeglass cleaner cloths sounds very handy!! :)
Okay... blonde, old, and not feeling to well so can't think straight but body creams out of goat's milk? Really? Do we make it out of cow milk too? I am just surprised because I would think it would spoil is all. What am I missing here?
Those windex cloths are an awesome idea! Perfect for stocking stuffers. I'm making earrings for all of the girls and am still brainstorming on what to get the boys.....hmmmmm..............
