Indiepublic

If you're new to Indiepublic, please introduce yourself here! We're a friendly and supportive community so don't be shy.

I'll start: My name is Sion Lee and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I'm a full-time blogger and artist; you may know me from my blog, Cuteable, or from my art, Ubiki. I have an engineering background which allows me to do all sorts of fun stuff with websites, but at heart I'm a creative soul who enjoys art and design.

In my spare time I like doodling, feeding the koi in my backyard pond, and playing with my crazy monster beagle, Sogo!

Hi! My name is Bredette and I live in the mountains just a little south of Santa Cruz, CA. I am a full time mom of a wonderful little guy named Orion. We live in the mountains on a small farm with alpacas, chickens, cats and dogs galore! I love to gather herbs and infuse them in oil, or make them into tea!

My name is James. I just found out about this site/community for all things handmade. This makes me happy. I recently launched my small business into cyberspace (www.narwhalcompany.com) and it would be great to reach out to more people in this arena. We specialize in handmade accessories for men and women. We make wallets, cardholders, iPod covers, etc. all our of vintage polyester ties.

Thanks.

Hi there, belated, but nevertheless, welcome! I'm reasonably new too and love to see newcomers creations. Your knits look cuddly and warm and remind me of winter (its summer here in Melbourne Australia). Love your work!

Hi everybody! My name is Samantha. My husband, Floyd and I are just starting up with internet marketing. My husband is a glass blower. He's been doing it mostly as a hobby for the past 8 years while we've been raising our two kids.. We homeschool them, so we're trying to both be home as much as possible. We've been on Etsy now for about a week and created our own website, so we're hoping to turn it all into more than just a hobby.

Welcome and congrats. Wishing you the best in all that you and your husband undertake. Etsy is the place to be. I like and find the people there most helpful and friendly.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Welcome, Cubist. It's good that you're here and that you are so young. I certainly hope this is one of your dreams you're following. There is no time like the present to do that. Do you have a shop and where is it located on the web?

Thanks for the warm welcome! My name is Maureen, and along with my mom (Nanny) and a network of independent knitters in New England, we produce classic knit wear for babies that we sell from our online shop NannyGram. My mom taught me to knit when I was a child, but it wasn't until I was thirty-something that I returned to the knitting needles. And, now, I can't put them down :-) I live in north central Massachusetts in a drafty, but charming, antique cape. which is also NannyGram headquarters. When I'm not knitting for NannyGram, I knit socks as gifts for my dearest friends. I'm looking forward to being a member of this community!
