Hi Tania, welcome to the site. I too am a mom and one day I hope to be able to turn my own work into $$$$. Till then I will keep going to work. I sure do meet a lot of great people though. Heck, my kids are all teenagers now, so maybe when they move out I will find the time. Aren't kids awesome!

Hi, I'm Jeanne - Two Chicks Too. I live it Colgate, Wisconsin and I'm a wife and mother of 3 and 4 year old girls. I work part time in surgery as a surgical tech. I draw pencil portraits for friends and family of their pets and kids, but my real passion is making jewelry. I opened my Etsy shop about 2 months ago deciding that I would throw caution to the wind and see how it goes. So far, it's been really fun. I haven 't had alot of sales, but I've really learned alot! I've met some wonderful people on my journey as an artist, and I'm REALLY excited to be here at Indie Public and can't wait to meet more!

Hi! My name is Jen and I live in Minnesota, USA. I crochet creatures and have been known to make paper, books, paint, draw, sew, spin yarn, write, and some more things that I am forgetting to type in here. I am a bookseller full-time and create things when I can around my crazy schedule.

Hi My name is Shelly and I live in VA. I have a full time business Joyful Girl Natural Products. Right now Im an etailer working on opening a store in the Northern VA area. I have a teaching backqround in Special Education, but for the last four years I have been busy building my business. Im so excited to find you all. With running a business out of my home I have become a hermit of sorts. Im a mother of 5 and have a grandson whom I take care of daily. I still have my own 5 year old at home too. Life is full of craziness, but I love every minute of it. Im a coffee fanatic obsessed with organic coffees. I also enjoy fabrics... I have yards and yards of fabric ( i do sew) but right now cherry pit bags and herbal pillows are the only items I have time to make. Im also a book addict. Non fiction mostly. So, a few minutes of peace with a book and a cup of coffee is heaven for me. I

My name is Stella and I'm so excited to be part of the gang! I currently live in Tampa, FL although I'm originally from Cambridge MA and am moving back early 2008. I am owned by Achilles, a large lab/weimaraner mix...he'll be 2 in December so he's just like a giant puppy!

He thinks he's small and loves to try to sit on my lap! lol.

Achilles and I have tons of fun making Poco Mutts at home...although he's always sad to see them go, he knows that they are being adopted into a new loving home!

My name's Mary McGuire, I'm an illustrator, mostly doing stuff in pen and inks but obviously I sell the odd print or whatever. I am also writing a novel and I have a blog which is a bit dormant at the moment because I've been ill, http://lovecarrots.wordpress.com if you want to take a gander.

I live in the UK and am hoping to find some artistic contacts there as well as around the rest of the world.
