For those of you who sell accessories, do you have a card attached to the item with your business logo on it? If so, where do you get them printed from? Do you do it yourself or have someone design and print them for you?

I'm thinking about adding something to my baggies when I sell one of my items. Just to spice up the little clear plastic bag ya know?

Hey Marilyn! :) A lot of the girls that consign with me use baggie tags. The girls who make clothes and jewelry have little tags included too. It's really a nice touch to the finished product. I do baggie tags as well as "hang tags" in any size and shape you need :)

Moo cards are pretty cool. I've thought about getting them but I'm on the fence.

I just print them out myself, and they look really nice. I found some lovely cardstock that kind of looks like a paper bag, if you get what I'm saying, just like a natural brown. I printed them with our logo and left a space to handwrite the item name and price on them. I always thought handwritten stuff was a nice touch. Then I punch a hole at the top of each tag and attach it to the item with black embroidery floss and a gold safety pin. They look classy, and they don't cost me much.

Here's what I print on them:

when i opened my shop i couldn't afford to have tags printed, so i bought some plain tags someone had cut with a tag punch and had www.prettyinink.biz make me a custom art stamp with my logo on it. the stamp was around $15 with shipping if i remember correctly for a stamp that is about 3/4" x 3/4". i later found the uchida clever lever GIGA punch at michael's crafts for about $18 that cuts out tags the perfect size to stamp my design on. you can buy packs of cardstock for about $3 in any color you like and ink pads are anywhere from $2 - $7. it's a little bit more work than having someone do it for you, but it's kind of fun i think...you can play around with different looks for your merchandise and it's and extremely affordable and convienient. :)

Thanks for the info. I think this time around I'm gonna have a fellow DIYer print them out as she's an expert. I am gonna play around with some old gift tags I have sitting in a shoebox somewhere. :)

I have these little tags I make...they are made to match your banner or logo or whatever you would like to match. I have a couple of regulars who buy them for their jewlery and other items.

I designed my own.
First I made an original piece of artwork - in the similar style to my actual cards I make.
Then I scanned it and resized it for various packaging purposes.
Then I printed it myself.... cut them and voila~
I also had some business cards printed from the same design, and made my banner for my etsy and my blogs to all blend in together :)
