Those are adorable. It seems to me that people that would be interested in them are the same sorts of people that have buttons on coats and bags and such. Maybe it's more of a matter of advertising than anything else.

Hey!
I have people tell me that they would rather have magnets. I made some buttons for a group of girls for a craft fair and they said that they didn't sell. Everyone said "if these were magnets". Magnets can go everywhere and you can be any age :D

Hey Vanessa - I love the buttons, they turned out great!

I agree though, I just think a lot of people like something that might be a bit more functional in everyday life, I am thinking that buttons are great for promo stuff cause you can stick it on anything, but people seem to WANT to use magnets. Well I am thinking about the whole flat back thing right now, then I a can do a bunch of different things with them - I will let you know when I decide to order :)

Penguins are my favorite animal so I would buy both! If I had to choose, I would go with magnets. I can never have enough of them on my fridge.

Those are adorable! They would make great magnets I think! You could advertise them as like stocking stuffers for kids and they can put them in their lockers or something! :D

I think my problem as a craftswoman is that I just love 'little' things, I was one of those geeks who looked forward to going back to school just so that I could buy new cool pens, pencils and cute erasers!! Therefore I love the idea of mass producing little stickers, badges, magnets etc :)

oooh i loooved buying little erasers, pencils, i was queen of organization and had my stuff ready the day after school ended haha..

You could always get pocket mirrors made with your creations too. Alot of my customers LOVE custom pocket mirrors!

adorable! i used to sit at the penguin tanks forever at the zoo when I was little. :) & I love the card behind. personally I'm a button wearer... that said I have a ton of buttons, and rarely buy them online (then again, I make my own, too, or get them at shows). maybe magnets are good because they can be given as a gift a little easier (ie you don't have to worry about if the giftee actually wears buttons or not?)

yeah! mirrors are great too.. we have them SUPER cheap without having to price match.. Don't forget to use your 15% off as well for being a return customer :D
