Indiepublic

If you're new to Indiepublic, please introduce yourself here! We're a friendly and supportive community so don't be shy.

I'll start: My name is Sion Lee and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I'm a full-time blogger and artist; you may know me from my blog, Cuteable, or from my art, Ubiki. I have an engineering background which allows me to do all sorts of fun stuff with websites, but at heart I'm a creative soul who enjoys art and design.

In my spare time I like doodling, feeding the koi in my backyard pond, and playing with my crazy monster beagle, Sogo!

hi everyone!! i'm erica and i'm from southern california. i'm 19 years old and i go to woodbury university, which you've probably never heard of. that's okay. anyway, i study fashion marketing, which has nothing to do with fashion design, but i like doing that too. my mom taught me how to sew tote bags, and i eventually started making my own clothes. i started selling my one-of-a-kind clothing on etsy (http://www.ericaleighdesigns.etsy.com) in may, so be sure to check that out sometime.

umm...what else...i love art in all its forms, ghost stories, ambigrams, mint chocolate chip ice cream, shopping, and reading. oh, and derren brown, because you know, he's cool and can hypnotize people. :)

Hello! My name is April (middle name Sunshine - my parents were freaks) and I currently live in Texas. I've lived here for about 3 years now, but I grew up in Southern California and it will always be my true home. I am an only child and began doing crafty things to keep from being bored. I am a fast learner and can catch onto any craft you throw at me. My favorites are sewing totes/purses/wallets and baby clothes. I also love making jewelry. I love to make soldered jewelry, polymer clay jewelry, beaded jewelry, and I like to play with resin as well. I am turning 30 this month and can't believe I am this old already. I home school my 8-year-old son and will probably home school my daughter when she's ready. My husband is the drummer of a band called The Alter Theory. I live for my family and for crafting. And for my favorite band Pinback. And for dark chocolate. And for computers. And Eddie Izzard. Okay, I'm done. :)

Oh yeah, and I have a blog here.

Hi Indiepublicans! =~.^=

I'm Andrea. *grins* I live in Wisconsin with my six cats, and AlleyC's latest litter of kittens, (six of those, too!). I am being bowled over by the cute!

I recently joined Indiepublic thanks to KungFuCowgirl via Etsy. =^.^;= It has been an absolute blast so far! <3!

Passion is a big part of my daily life. And being chipper. *laughs* I don't make just one thing exclusively... viva la variety! (It's the spice of life!). I'm currently UBER busy with the Wisconsin Street Team - Etsy. =*^.^*= It has totally rocked my funky socks. Woo!

I make high end jewelry (not on Etsy right now), and really swanky recycled postage stamp pendants, and recycled paper pendants... getting into my own version of handmade supplies by making cute little cardlets... putting my photography into ACEO format, (and they're STICKERS!). I also do freelance graphic design for web & for print, design ads for print, product photography for web & print... *falls over* I love to be doing, and making, and creating. (And all my cats "help." LMAO).

I also LOVE artistic collabs. And swaps! And trading! =^.^= Hit me up if you'd like to do any of those.
<3,
~Andrea

Hi everyone! I'm Becky, a lawyer turned formally-trained fashion designer, illustrator and patternmaker specializing in couture and ready-to-wear. I am also an avid knitter, and some knitters may know me as the designer of the "Peppermint Twist" sweater from Stitch 'N Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook by Debbie Stoller.

I currently provide mostly bags and purses online, and most of my goods are inspired by or derived from my fashion collections, textile samples I create or themes I put together in my design workbook, and some are made just because I find a fabric that I love. Come winter I'll probably be putting up knitted items, or whatever else strikes my fancy. I just love that the things I make for sale online have no deadline and that it's just me, myself and I in the creation process!

Hi :O) I'm Shalana, a.k.a. thefunkyfelter. I live in the wonderful Kansas City metro area of Missouri, U.S.A., with my husband, dog, and rabbit. I'm a fiber artist specializing in modern and traditional felt making techniques such as needle felting and wet felting. My items are not woven before the fulling, or shrinking, process. I use a variety of fibers to felt with, but I mainly use wool from sheep.

My day job is being an adjunct college professor where I teach computer design courses for a local college. I *really* enjoy teaching, but my artistic passion is fiber arts and felt making. I feel very blessed to be able to pursue both avenues in life.

Hi, I'm Sabine. 31 from Belgium. By day I work as a marking assistant, but after working hours I'm a crazy lingerie designer who's addicted to fabrics :)
My dream is to be a full time designer one day, but first... I've got to win the lottery :)

My name is Kris and I'm a 24 year old living in Georgia. I work a wonderful day job, and dedicate most of my spare time to being a multi-crafter. Photography will always be my first passion, but I like everything from bath & beauty products to crochet to scrapbooking and web/graphic/print design. I've always wanted to learn how to do silksreen on tees, too! I'm a big fan of unique designs and wonderfully smelly products! I live with my boyfriend, a dog, a kitty and every other weekend my boyfriend's son comes to visit and join in on the fun too. I like cooking (the entire ideal, cooking, presenting, serving, cleaning), movies, music, bowling, picnics, building computers, and my day job teaching court research and retrieval for the non-criminal unit of a large corporation!

My name is cindy Thomson and I currently reside in Dodge City KS. I am quite literally in the middles of nowhere and have next to no way to get my jewelry and other work out there except on the internet and traveling 2 horus or more to do the occassional craft show. I am a music teacher in "real life". I create all the wonderful things you see on my page in my spare time... when I have any. All my pieces that are for sale can be seen and purchased on my etsy site http://divapixie.etsy.com
I am an avid Renaissance festival junkie. I try to attend 4-6 different festivals a year as a "playtron"... which means I dress up and pay to attend the festivals but tend to blend into the scenery and get asked to have my picture taken a lot. ;)
