another sale, new supply section, new pendants...

Hello indiepublic friends!

I got another sale, woohoo. That makes it two and counting. :D

I wanted to let you all know that I have some new things going. I have just opened a supply section in my store: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5230043&section_id=5169589

I will focus on offering charms and findings that you just don't find everywhere. Keep an eye on it for some neat pieces. I'll be adding some fabric stashes in the future.

I've also been working on some new pendants. I've discovered a freeform style of wire-wrapping that I really like and really enjoy playing around with. There are a couple in my etsy store, and I've also uploaded a couple photos of them here.

Finally, I wanted to share a helpful tip with you all. This is a rundown on how to clean silver-plated jewelry up nicely:

You can magnetize the tarnish away. Simply line the bottom of a bowl with a sheet of aluminum foil and fill the bowl with warm water. Add a generous amount of salt -- about 4 tablespoons -- and a squirt of liquid dish soap. Place the tarnished jewelry on top, and voila! You'll see the tarnish begin to disappear -- a natural chemical reaction that actually magnetizes the tarnish right off. No buffing or rubbing needed. Wipe clean and dry with a terry towel. This also works wonders on tarnished flatware and silver-plated home accessories.
