Since we are late with this....we'll just get right into the story:
"My apologies miss...I did not intend to startle you." My name is Tá me. I have been travelling for quite some time, as I expect have you. Perhaps we could entertain each other with some conversation as we walk to Triska. Roba found this to be agreeable and the travellers shared a pleasant conversation about Triska, the village they were walking towards. Mr Tá me asked Roba where she was from and to where was she travelling. Roba had always been very straight forward with anyone who'd asked her this: "I am looking for a particular old woman with a red hat who lives in Yukoslavia." "Well", the gentleman said "At least you have found Yukoslavia. In fact you must have been in the region for some time now. As for an old lady with a red hat, I am sure there must be more than a few in all of the country." "Well, my old lady is very old and lives in the Tall Cedar Woods of Yugoslavia." "Ah, then both you and I must be both pleased and vexed. I am pleased to tell you that I know those woods and we are not so far from them so that is both our joy. But your vexation will be that you will have some back tracking to do and as I must move on to my business in Triska, I will be most vexed to have to part company with you." "Oh dear.. how far must I back-track wondered Roba." "Well now I must apologize yet again for frightening you. I only meant that it is a couple of miles back...where you will recall we crossed a stone bridge. You must follow the stream trough the woods for I cannot say how long but you will find an old lady at some point." As before Roba was sorry to have to part with another new friend. Just as she was having these thoughts, Mr. Ta me turned to her and said: "May your path be easy and I hope to see you again Miss Roba, you are a brave woman in more ways than one." Roba thought the brave woman bit was a little odd but as she was more concerned about her 'path' though the woods she turned to Anois and said: "Well then, we must turn back to find the bridge." They reached it in no time at all and Roba stood beside the bridge looking downriver: "My but the woods and bushes are thick here. I do hope we find a path before long."
Ok, I can't make these episodes too long..so we'll end it there and thank you for reading my story, (it does have an ending).....Namaste.
