I've been gone for a few days, and that's because I've actually been busy working on a couple of things.

First is compiling all of these lovely shipments I have to send out this weekend... the pile is certainly scary, but it's gonna feel good to get it all out to all of those anxiously waiting customers.

The Second, and the coolest, by far in my book, is the opening of my second Etsy store -- A[n]Teris. Where did the name come from? Well, Livia's Treasures (and soon to be Livia's Jewelry) was named for my little girl, Olivia. My 13 year old son, who is very, very creative, wanted to get into the shop owning bandwagon, so I decided to open a shop to showcase his artistic skillz, and also some writing that I had been working on for the past... um... 25 years??? I say it was about time I got this stuff published!

I also wanted to offer some things that would be a bit out of place in a jewelry/rosary store. The last thing was that I wanted to make sure it was named after my son.

After about 45 minutes of playing with the letters in his name I came up with brANdon peTER harrISon. And A[n]Teris was born. An he thought it was cool, so how could I go wrong. The brackets was just a cool addition I came up with on the last minute.

Okay, enough about that, and more about what's in the shop: A lot of writing, art and some quirky bits. This shop is truly the "evil twin Skippy" of my Etsy persona. Everything off-center, irreverant, and whatever else comes out of my mind will show up here. This is where the spunk I've generated in over 41 years, and all of the spunk my son inherited and honed over 13/14 years will come to life.

Here's a couple of the items we have for sale:

Ruthless Bookplates.

You ever loan someone a book and never see it again? Well, here you go. Make sure they remember who it belonged to.

The Defender's Burden, Chapter One

Been working on this for a LOOOOOONG time, and I figured it was time to get this thing published. We're doing it serialized format, to make it more fun. There will be cool things for people who purchase more than one chapter, like discounts, special packaging, and all that, so check it out. It's a fun story for those into Fantasy and all that.

We're also going to have an illustrated work by my son called Ancient. It's roughly another fantasy about how the peoples of the world got to be the way they are. His ideas are fabulous and seriously cutting edge -- and I'm not just saying that cause he's mine. As well, another fiction series, some artwork, and some cool, neat paper goods.

Wow, can I talk a lot? Why yes I can. Now go. Run before I get going on what's coming with Livia's Treasures/Jewelry.
