It's hard, this thing called work!
You know, I don't think I've put this much mental energy and work into something since, well, I started teaching. And that work? It's energizing, in a way. I'm excited. I'm loving the challenge.
Today, I loaded most of the rest of my designs into the website and got a shipment of blank circle labels, so I took some time to design a few up, and I love them. I've been playing with using some old 18th century illustrations, and they've been turning out really well.
And, I've been trying to keep up with the networking part of this--which is the hardest for me. I love to work, and although I like to socialize, I always feel like the networking part of the day is the fun, slacky part, so I feel a little guilty doing it. Of course, I do understand that it will pay off later. But still!
I hope everyone is doing well and getting lots of orders. Summer is half over, and my sister is already talking about Christmas shopping, so get ready for the onslaught!
