An inbound link acts like a recommendation from the website that has the link to your page.

The best types of inbound links are anchor text links, where the text of the link describes what your website is all about. Whenever you can get anchor text inbound links to your site you're sure to boost your search engine ranking. An example of an inbound anchor text link would be :
