Stupid mom tricks

You know that trick we all use where we wait for our kiddos to leave the nest for the day then we go in all ninja mom and clean their room? Well it backfired.

I set out to zen the 5 year olds lair with donation bags in hand. I came across some chestnuts that had been neglected for some time. I tossed them in the yard thinking they had long been forgotten. Sure enough as if her 5 year old physic ability was out for revenge she created a lovely fairy house and the focus of this castle?

"Mama we can put my chestnuts in here for when the squirrels visit."

What a lovely idea sweetie. I need to let the dogs out I will be right back. *hair flying I dash out to recover the lost treasure*

hopefully a kind squirrel will help me with this one.

So I have been working on a tapestry and posting the progress

Hey Mel...that sounds like D (he remembers everything and exactly where it should be -- eeks)! We sure miss you all -- need to get together and soon! Best wishes on your class at 6th Street (one of these days I'll get it together so that I can take one from you)!

Hope you all are well and wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day!
