Last night my 7 year old granddaughter called me to tell me it was snowing that she went outside and made a snowball. Not enough snow for a snow man but a snow ball. She also told me she ate the snow. I asked where did you get the snow and luckily she said in the air. I explained why it was not a good idea to eat snow off the ground. She said yuck!

She told me that a little boy in her class told her that they would not have school today if it snowed. I explained that might not be the case. She assured me it was, after all her 7 year old friend told her so.......

She told me that the flakes were huge and she was sure she would stay home today and play in the snow all day. Well as luck as it, school was opened and her mom went into her room to wake her and told her to get ready to go to school. She replied, "Mom there is no school today, it snowed." Mom, replied yes there is and get ready.

Aaaw Man!

Well all the snow is gone but at least my 7 year old granddaughter finally got to see, feel and touch snow. The highlight of her life thus far...

I know you people that live in the North will get a chuckle out of it!
