Today I'm feeling grateful. My finished business plan is turned in to be reviewed, we packed all holiday stuff away on boxing day, and presents are happily resting with the rest of our every-day objects, and I have only to finish emptying our eldest's room (he moved out three months ago) so our youngest has a room of his own.
And, because so much has been done as needed, I have an evening of metal work to do. New doming tools to try out and some pieces of copper to work on. Oh, and there is some silver work. *sigh* My life has been too full lately!
We've come up with a unique way of displaying our jewelry at one business (providing she approves). It's inspirational, and I can't help feeling we're on the right track.
And tonight I am working on a special project. Atticus Wolf. It's a line I've come up with and I can't wait to get started! Very few pictures, but too many ideas, so maybe I'll scan some of the images This week. Or just post pics of what the work is.
Be well, be creative, and always be grateful. If we were perfect, we'd need no art. :)
Oh! And my challenge to everyone...get your torches (or creative juices) ready and make one piece of jewelry/ornamentation/drawing/painting/whatever than you plan. Or at least make one a surprise. Let the world slip away and the work take you to a new place! Can't wait to see where everyone went!
