So my boyfriend and I just opened our Etsy shop to start selling our handmade jewelry and knitted creations. We've got 13 items posted and we have everything from necklaces to earrings to scarfs. I've been posting my pictures here, on etsy (of course), on facebook, flickr, and of course craig's list. I guess I'm just wanted to much to fast. Because we've had quite a few hits on all of our items, but only one sale to a friend of my sisters. I know it takes awhile to get a business going, but its kinda frustrating. We've been working on items for the shop, non stop for a couple weeks now and while it is rewarding to finish pieces, I guess a few sale would just help to give us more momentum by validating that we're good at what we're doing.



Oh well, I guess the time will come and things will pick up. Till then we keep plugging on, stabbing ourselves with our beading needles, and cursing when our pictures don't come out right.
