Needle punch embroidery

I was sick for a few days so today I'm playing catch up. I did the dishes and have clothes in the washer. I scrubbed the stove top which took me forever.
Then I was finally able to get back to my needlepunch. My thumb blister has healed up, but to be on the safe side, I cut the fingertip off of a rubber glove and now I'm wearing that when I do needlepunch to protect my thumb. In the process of doing needle punch I found a splinter in one of my fingers, so I had to go dig that out. That came from the spoon I was carving a few days ago.
Since I ran out of blue for my current needle punch project, I went ahead and planned for the next one. It will be a little girl flying a red kite. I can see I'm going to need to stock up on embroidery floss.
