Hands Against Time
I thought the latest theme was pretty amazing and I thought of my immediate ancestors, but the primitivity of more distant ancestors called to me and I thought of cave art.
I looked long and hard for the right cave art to inspire my piece, but even though I selected some samples, nothing really worked for me. What kept cropping up was the hand-print signatures left on the walls, some prints, some silhouettes. Charcoal black or ochre… Continue
