Katia Munoz is a Peruvian artist, graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru with a specialty in painting. She has exhibited his work in painting, engraving and photography since 1995 in various cities of Peru and the Netherlands made a series of illustrations for the book Duizen * Suzanne Heering.
In 2004 she created and founded Kurmyskay * Art and Design specializes in lines of Decorative art and utility work to various shops in the area, working as a designer for Shehadi Mirrors NYC. came into contact with the glass painted with an old technique, then applying it to a new decorative line in modern furniture with this project being a finalist in the 2006 Innovation Competition Artisan in Lima, Peru. She lives in Barcelona since 2006, in 2007 initiated the course of Sculpture and Decorative glass at the Foundation Center's Vidre Barcelona where this continuing her encounter with the glass and deepening their knowledge to continue to express.
