2009 4th of July Ventura Street Festival - Item stolen

This year's Ventura 4th of July Street Fair was a great success (although quite windy)! However, I was so very disappointed to find that a precious piece of jewelry was stolen from my booth. This was a handwired vintage-style flower brooch which took an entire day or two to create.

Handwoven wisteria vine necklace

Made this wisteria vine necklace ~ looks just like the beautiful wisteria flowers blooming in my backyard - one of my many favorite flowers! Used quite a few strands of Czech glass beads for this necklace, probably close to 20 strands.

Craft sale this weekend postponed until next month!

Craft Sale at Gift Gulch has been postponed until June 27-28 due to expected thunderstorms this weekend! Hope to see you next month!

Precious beads on Julia Bristow necklace!

I have made my first necklace including a beautiful strand of precious beads ~ Rubies! As this is my first necklace made with precious gemstone beads, it features another awesome Harold Cooney hollow glass centerpiece. I will be adding to my website shortly. I also have some emeralds just waiting for something special...

So many new items added to website!

I was finally able to enjoy creating many new pieces with the beads and beautiful pendants gathered over the last year. I made many with handblown glass beads and polymer clay flowers, by very talented glass and bead artists including Harold Cooney, Warren Newbery, Anastasia, JB Glass Designs, Sarah Hornik, Cornelia Lentze, Zuda Gay & Lilly Pilly Designs and more. I am excited to list these items and they can be seen here.
