My name is Jes. I'm 29 years old, married, and just moved to Chicago, where I am a full-time doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. My main area of interest is working with various at-risk populations, including: juvenile delinquents, youth exposed to trauma, and children of parents with mental illness. I also hold a dear place in my heart for working with performing artists, as I completed my BM at the Eastman School of Music and am more than vividly aware of the unique needs of that population.

I should NOT have to be sexually harrassed!

I fucking hate nasty men. Why do they find it so necessary to make disgusting remarks to women who are simply trying to stay in shape? There is not one time I go for a run that I don't get hooted, hollered, or honked at. I can usually just blow it off, but today these two nasty nasty men found it necessary to pose themselves on either side of the sidewalk as I was about to run by and make disgusting remarks in Spanish.
