Original 8x10 Pastel painting Goblet and Candles - Matted and Framed

$75.00
I thoroughly enjoyed painting this unusual still life. I have always been entranced with candlelight and its reflection off glass.

This pastel is matted in an 11x14 matt with an 8x10 inch opening, cream matt and 11x14 inch brushed brass narrow frame, ready to hang.

Created on sturdy Wallis pastel paper with the finest quality artist pastels, this beauty will grace any room. I sprayed lightly to prevent smudging, signed on back by artist with all relevant information. Comes with EBSQ professional Certificate of Authenticity.

Note: Colors are different on different monitors, painting looks MUCH better in person. Thanks for stopping by to look at my works of art! Feel free to email me with questions, comments or just to chat.

Shipping is for USA and Canada only, other locations please contact me for pricing.

ACEO Print No.2 - Magical Fairy in Spring

$3.00
"Magical Fairy in Spring". Print #2 from my original pen and ink.

This pen and ink is about Summer Solstice (Litha) where I have shown the portal to the Faery Kingdom. Just ring the bell and the portal will open for you.

An “ACEO Bounty” artwork listing can be purchased directly from the artist or won by the Ultimate “ACEO Bounty” Competition Winner (see the thread for competition details).

Search “ACEO Bounty” (Items: tags and titles) please remember to include the [“] quote marks when typing your search reference.

ACEO that stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. They are small, original works of art (or limited edition prints), always standard trading card size (2.5" x 3.5"), offered for sale by many talented artists.

Printed with archival inks on acid free cardstock.

Print 2 5x7 Morning Glories

$15.00
Print #2 in this series of 5x7 inch of award winning oil painting. Fits 8x10 frame.

Printed, from original painting, on card stock with archival inks guaranteed for at least 100+ years. Can be framed or displayed on miniature easel. Or added to your collection. Has a 1/8” white border for easier framing.

Signed, titled and numbered on back.

Once I started this painting and really got into it I was enthralled with the textures and colors. In New Zealand, where I come from, we call these flowers "Granny Bonnets" and they are white. I loved playing with the lights and darks of these rich colors. Such a pleasure.

This print is mailed wrapped in protective acid free Glassine paper, by Priority mail, insured with delivery confirmation, ready to be matted for frame.

If just framing and trimmed to 4x6 size, is mailed in protective sleeve. When ordering put in comments if you want it trimmed or a little border left so you can mat it.

Note that colors appear differently on monitors, much more beautiful in person. This print will be shipped first class mail, with a card enclosed for stability. I package my work carefully. I will combine shipping with any other items of mine you purchase within 3 days if you notify me of pending purchases. Will ship when all payments are cleared.

About Me:
The love of my life is painting! My favorite subjects are portraits, seascapes, still lifes, fantasy art and cats, and sometimes landscapes. I absolutely LOVE doing miniatures even though sometimes they take as long as a larger painting. I look at everything I see as a possible subject for painting, and when I pick something I paint the "essence and deeper quality" of that subject. There is something spiritual about creating a painting, I believe that painting is expressing one's inner creative light. My muse has been quite active lately.

April - 2008

Been a while - I have been so busy. Will be moving soon when I find another apt, so have been purging and organizing everything. This upsets my cat Isis no end, she has been in a very bad mood about the whole thing, her world is upside down. If she whacks me with her tail one more time she might just get it tied in a knot. AND, when I was bending down to tie up one of the bags she literally came up to me and bopped me one on the nose (with her little fistie) knocking my glasses askew (well just… Continue

What I have been doing....

I have been busy working on three commissions. It has been a very busy summer and glad that autumn is here so I can concentrate on painting! I just love to paint! This year I have been focused on ACEO's but the commissions are larger, and I will still paint a lot of ACEO's but will also be painting larger too. I hope the summer has been kind to you also! I will post my commissions when they are finished....

Oooh and we were neighbors! I'm from New Hampshire. Yankee (me) married Redneck and ended up in "Mars" Arkansas. You really do beautiful work. I love your cat pictures. You can see their personalities in their eyes. I like that, to be able to see a painting and feel it, too.
