I'm Back......!

Well, almost completely! I was bitten by a spider just after Christmas and then I became very ill. That led to a superimposed viral infection on top of the bacterial one the spider gave me. All in all I was ill a little over a month, took 4 different antibiotics, visited the ER 2x's and the Dr. office 3x's. I ordered my computer the beginning of January and just received it last night. I am now in the process of catching up with all my emails and sites. I am leaving my shops on vacation until ne… Continue

Feedback on Etsy

I really think I have a problem with the idea of feedback.
Why should I type in "yea, fast payer"? If you buy my wares, you will have to pay for them before I send them to you. If you pay with paypal, it is instantantaneous. If you bounce a check, I will report you to the authorities. If you never pay, you won't get my goodies. As for sellers, if their product isn't quality, you complain & return. If you have problems with returning, you report to your credit card company, paypal, and the si… Continue

where am I going to find the time?

okay, so I thought opening 3 Etsy stores was no real, big, huge deal. Afterall, I've been making all these product and more and selling them for 35 yrs. So......what would the difference(s) be?

Well, I'm starting to feel some big differences.
First and formost, I have to work hard at not having an identity crisis! So... I try to log in/out under each name & I try to (remember to) posts under all 3 names, thus getting people to see all 3 of my shops.
Sometimes when I am putting my two cents… Continue

My blog has lots of tips & hints for new Etsy members. I've been on Etsy for over two years now & want to give back to the community by helping younger shops. Give it a peek! It has a big plug board for you to load your link up free & two nice spots to run project wonderful ads. Plus, I like to do blog site, link exchanges. I usually get between 75 to 300 hits a day so it stays busy & is a nice place to promote from.

I took the plunge and, after an hour, (does anyone else take this long?) I finally have pictures up on my page.
Notice that I din't say good pictures. For good reason too! Even the ones that looked good in my folder, don't seem to look good here. I can even see a fiber in the one with the handmade paper as the background. WOw... now I guess I'll have to try takeing some more and..... do this all over again. But that is for another day. So until then, I'm sorry & please know that my jewelry & crafts are FAR better than my photographs of them!
I'm still sitting here wondering how I missed out on even a small bit of photographic talent....
