About Me:

I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area in California on the East Bay in Hayward and Union City. This environment was rich with color, expression, and imagination. Creating a design, painting a picture, or writing a story with this type of back ground lays a foudation that allows the mind to go beyond conventional thinking. The 1960's were all about expressing yourself, show the world who you were though the arts. So, being labeled a "free thinker" all my life has not been easy at times but it has allowed me to create some nice things using the art of crochet. Back in 1972 I was in Junior High School and in a Home Economics class when I first learned. I picked it up again in the 1980's and learned how to make bed dolls. At the begining of 2007 I had my doctor give me the news to quit smoking or die... so I quit smoking. To keep my hands busy, I picked up the crochet hook once again and have been busy ever since. I am a Mother of 2 (Melissa and Clayton) and a Grammy of 2 (Taylor and Joshua) I am married, David, and have a pet love bird Tweety. I work for the phone company and I am the one you yell at when you get your bill. I just started my own business this year and am doing pretty good. I love to play devil's advocate and have a warped sense of humor. Nice to meet you, just call me Sue!

Mostly One of a kind stuffed toy animals such as horses, dragons, dogs, or whatever the client wants... I make baby clothes, sets, and shower gifts sets... and am now branching out into accessories such as hair barrettes, purses, and headbands.
