Favorite Designers/Artists:

I'm not a "major designer label" kinda gal.. I tend to love clothes and accessories made by "designers in training", small business designers or Caribbean Designers like Claudia Peagus (who do not receive their rightful kudos for their talents)... I also love discovering local "small-fry" designers when I visit the Caribbean. For example, there's boutique in Tobago that sells beautiful hand-painted garments and accessories... In Dominica, they have hand woven baskets made by Caribs... and Barbados has amazing pottery. I also love Moshibah in Brooklyn, NY and "Fads" in Croydon, UK.

Favorite Music/Musicians:

Erykah Badu, Angie Stone, Jill Scott, Tesanne Chin, Morgan Heritage; Any of the new Marley generation of musicians; certain styles of Gospel; Jazz, India Irie... should I continue?

Favorite TV Show & Movies:

CIS, Law & Order, House, Most Home improvement programmes especially "Grand Designs" (a UK programme where people self-build their homes usually using eco-friendly methods). The Colour Purple. Any Pixar movie.

Favorite Books / Authors:

The Bible (KJV... the old language doesn't phase me)
