Greater Seattle Area / Cyberspace
About Me:
Psychedelicat Vintage Goods offers vintage and antique sewing trims, ribbons, and notions, as well as a selection of vintage jewelry and home decor items..

Our large selection of 1960s-1970s embroidered sewing trims are perfect for making handbags, belts and guitar straps, and for embellishing clothing.

I love hitting the local estate sales & thrifts in search of vintage coolness...and add my discoveries to Psychedelicat weekly. (The site is a perfect excuse for me to go out looking...as if I needed one!)

Psychedelicat is a sister site to Empty Mirror Books, where we've been selling Beat Generation, small press, poetry, counterculture & modern art books & ephemera since June 2000.

I also own Indie Coffeehouse Arts Directory, which is a free directory listing indie crafters, musicians, and other indie folks. Drop on by & get your free listing!

We also offer interesting vintage & antique sewing notions, embellishments, buttons & buckles to… Continue

Web Promotion for Indie Crafters, Musicians, & Other Creative Types

I have another job, aside from running Psychedelicat Vintage Goods.

I'm the owner of Quanta Webdesign & Promotion for the Arts, where I build & promote websites for creative people.

In addition to building websites, I have expertise in promoting websites online, so that they are more easily found in search engines, and, subsequently, get more visitors.

The search engines figure that sites with more links to them are more popular, and should… Continue

Psychedelicat News, March 6, 2008

First off, I want to say how glad I am to have discovered IndiePublic. It is so much fun to see what everyone else is making & selling, and to connect with others who love handmade & vintage things.

I've been having some camera issues but think that's finally straightened out, so over the next week or so most of those little "photo coming soon" images will be vanishing from our website. Yay! There will be lots of vintage jewelry coming, as well as some sewing patterns, buttons, fabrics… Continue

Hi Denise! Thanks for the sweet comment you left for me. I need to come back here more often! I've just been browsing your website and saw some yummy vintage stuff there! I've bookmarked it for future projects! Thanks for the info on RME too, I've been wondering about it since I see the references popping up all over Etsy lately. Good stuff!
Best,
Dianne

Welcome to Indie!!!

A bunch of us who sell on Etsy.com have already started excepting RME payments!

It is a new online payment site that a lot more people are using now because it is totally free! No FEES!!!!!!
When someone pays you,you get all of your money! Works just like paypal but without the fees. AND they give you $25 for free just for signing up! I didn't want to tell others about it until I actually got my $25 in my bank account and started using it myself. But I have been using it and it is great! So I am spreading the word!
I am so sorry if this sounds or looks like spam. It is not meant to be at all!!! I really just want to tell you about a new way to except online payments without any fees.
