About Me:

I am a photography and watercolor painter. I need to be creative everyday.

SLGdesigns evolved into My Fine Garden because I discovered while photographing pretty things to later paint in watercolor, that I actually adored the idea of photography as the actual finished product. I got myself out of order then, you see, as it was my watercolor designs that I originally planned to launch as a shop. I will get back to that eventually, as I always have so many ideas, but right now I'm loving what I see with my camera a tiny bit more than my brush.

My photography is a garden of blushing pinks, sunlit greens, comforting whites, and azure blues. Purples and yellows have only recently crept in to join the fun.

I feel there is a mix and match goodness about them; that you can see your own life and your own memories in them, and through combining different photographs you can make a story uniquely your own. There is a compatibility of color and light throughout the line, yet they still look collected over time.

Each is like a pretty Easter egg, painted in cotton candy colors, and I'm so happy to share them with you!
