About Me:

I'm Dawn Newell, also known as Lady Jinx. I'm the Owner & Designer of my jewelry deisgning shop and growing hopefully career. I have been jewelry designing for two years, always ready for learning new techniques and ideas.

I got into beading as a child, using plastic beads. Later in life, at the age of 17 I got into crimping with glass beads, freshwater pearls, crystals and other high fashionable beads. In '08 I opened my first onling shop on Etsy.com and it became "Lady Jinx's Jewelry"

The story of the name of Lady Jinx's Jewelry is Lady Jinx is my nickname I've had on me since the age of 13. I can't remember why I have it, but it's something I've always called myself as a nickname.

Personal, I'm a Ovo-Vegetarian but I consider myself Semi-Vegan lifestyle (no meat, no fish, no fur, wool, cashmere, leather, no animal by-products like gelatin, lard, etc, I don't touch any dairy products! I still consume eggs, Tofu, Grains & Pasta is my main protein and anything dairy related I touch is Soy Milk, Soy Yogurt, etc.). Don't worry, I'm not all pale and thin. My diet/lifestyle choice is for animals, health, world hunger and workers rights. I'm the owner of two very spoiled and temperamental birds; Ash & Kiwi. I'm into anything that has to do with Anime, LEGO, Transformers, Star Wars, Resident Evil, Zombies, Horror and a lot of other stuff.

I'm also a big time collector of TY Beanie Babies, I' started my collecting of them when I was about 9 years of age and it's grown over the years. I also have a small but growning Powerpuff Girl collection as well.
