About Me:

I'm Kelley Pounds, and I'm an artist, writer, and jewelry artisan.

I grew up in a very rural area of New Mexico, and I come from family of writers, artists and creators of all types. My dad is a writer who also restores antique cars, my first art teacher was my older brother, and my mom taught me how to sew.

Since then I've been a floral designer, a sign painter and a librarian, among many other jobs. I'm a graduate of Art Instruction Schools, and along with my wire-wrapping jewelry, I also enjoy drawing and painting--both in traditional and digital media.

Right now my ETSY store focuses primarily on my wire-wrapped jewelry, and I'm inspired by fantasy, folklore, and art of past eras. In my work I use sterling silver, precious and semi-precious stones, kiln-formed glass, polymer clay, lamp work beads, and more.

I have a store at Cafe Press with items featuring my artwork. Themes and subjects usually involve fantasy, nature, and animals.
