About Me:

Bluebell was the name my Grandfather gave his first boat. Built from scratch, it was truly a labour of love. Since childhood I have been drawing, crafting and painting, art has always been my favorite pastime. Bluebelle Design is my labour of love.

Although I am primarily self-taught in the world of illustration, I graduated from Vancouver Film School in 1999, and have been putting my creative energy to good use as a compositor for film and TV. Working in the visual effects industry has helped me develop an eye for composition, light and colour. I am proud to have been nominated for two Leo's, a Gemini, and an Emmy award for my work.

Over the years I have been commissioned to do many pieces, including large scale murals, wedding invitations and gift cards. My preferred medium is water-colour paints, their effects can be hauntingly beautiful as the water and paint dry to create a truly organic work of art.

Craft, sew, paint, sculpt ... you name it I love to create.
