About Me:
Known by those who know her best as "Alternique", a published artist and obsessive collector of doo-dads, found treasures, tid-bits, odds 'n ends. An expert Dumpster Diver, Trash Digger, Garage Sale Scavenger.

Rumored to have opened a website to support her habit and save her marriage. Seriously afflicted with the altering and collaging fever associated with ALL Altered Art ~ Mixed Media ~ Collage ~ Assemblage and anything else her mind's eye envisions.

"Excellent!........... Oooooh!.......... Perfect!" passersby hear her exclaim. (In the background her family hides and pretends not to know her as she picks through trash and other's cast-offs!) We've heard her tell anyone who will listen, she "Plans to stay consumed with this type of art forever!"

Hi! Got your friend request. I'm a rank amateur compared to you. Beautiful, moody art. Love it all, especially the sea horses, as I think sea horses are amazing delicate & beautiful.

Hi Alternique

Thanks for visiting my blog! I'll keep my hog's and you can keep your bear's.......Bears are much more scary. Our bears down south do not get as big as yours. We have had a bear running through our yard. Oh and I have a nasty bobcat story I forgot about LOL.

I just submitted an article on how to press flowers in the Libraray. Let me know if you need any more tips to keep your wildflowers beautiful. Just be careful, pressing flowers is addicting :)
