Carmella had the CSF procedure October 1st, 2008 and it was a great success! She is free of the disease now! It was performed under guided ultrasound by Dr. Peter Muller of the Briarcliff Animal Clinic in Atlanta. If you have a dog with Distemper please have your vet contact him for instructions.

Dr. Sears now has a new website if anybody needs help with a dog and getting their vet to try this treatment. Please pass along this information to your vets; www.Treatment4Distemper.com

Carmella still needs an injection of the NDV into the spinal canal to be fully cured. I've been turned down by several vets already, but am not giving up.

If you need this for your dog write Dr. Sears at AntiDistemper@aol.com and your vet can also mix up a dog-based version (the manufactured stuff is made by the drug company Merial and is bird-based). The dog-based formula is here: http://www.edbond.com/antidistemper.html
Feel free to print that out and give the instructions to your vet.
